I have talked about the ingredient mugwort for some time now, both on my personal Instagram account as well as here on the Beautchat site. When Missha released their Time Revolution Artemisia line it was as if they knew I was yearning for something mugwort from them. This line includes a cleanser, an essence, a mist, and the Time Revolution Artemisia Ampoule, which is what I will be reviewing for you today. And by a review, I mean professing my love for this amazing product!

The mugwort used in this ampoule is harvest from Ganghwa Island in Korea, due to the ideal environment surroundings (the sea breeze, sunlight, and climate). The star ingredient, Artemisia Annua Extract is formulated through a double fermentation. Below is Missha’s step-by-step explanation of this double fermentation process.

INGREDIENTS:

Artemisia Annua Extract, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Trehalose, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Carbomer, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Tromethamine, Polyquaternium-51, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA

In the dropper, the product looks a little thick (borderline like a snail essence texture), but when applied it’s much runnier. A little goes a long way with this ampoule. I think ¼ to ½ of a dropper is a good amount to use. I typically use a half. If it’s not enough, you can always add more.

Due to almost constant irritating acne, I need at least a few skincare products in my routine geared towards hydration and soothing. This hits both of those needs flawlessly. It’s a fast-absorbing ampoule that leaves skin feeling soft and healthy. My acne was not irritated by the ampoule at all and typically felt better after using it. I also love using this alongside the mist. On very lazy days, I gravitate to just using those two products!
