I feel like this sponge does not make a real difference in a routine. It is very soft and not not feel very 'scrubby' or exfoliating, even if you scrub hard. If you don't like physical exfoliation then this might be a good pick but even then, you would have to scrub every day for a long time to even get the tiniest feel of exfoliation. It feels very rubbery on the skin, and the shape is not great to wash with.
I ordered the charcoal one and I don't think infusing it with charcoal really makes a difference. Also you can't see mould on a black sponge! which can happen when you keep your sponge in a humid place. If I ever repurchase this, I won't buy the black one and I will try another brand to see if it helps.
